Conceptual Art: Merging With Nature

 Part I

WARM UP

Activity

Class begins with music and warm up. Students are invited to get on their feet, get away from their desks and follow the professor's muscle groups - isolation warm up.

In previous classes, we added conscious breathing at the end of the warm up and self-affirmations.

Today we are adding a few seconds of meditation.

 Question 1

Write a response about your experience with meditation after the warm up. Post your reflection on Discussion Board.

CONCEPTUAL ART
Definition

Conceptual art, sometimes simply called conceptualism, is art in which the concept or idea involved in the work take precedence over traditional aesthetic, technical, and material concerns. In other words, it is art in which the idea presented by the artist is considered more important than the finished product, if there is one.
