Fourth Round of Mini-Lessons: Cam, Karli, Madison
The One Thing All Great Teachers Do | Nick Fuhrman
Questions
After watching this video, what is Ranger Nick trying to teach us about teaching? According to him what do great teachers do?
STUDENTS' FEEDBACK
I really enjoyed Karli's presentation. I think that using songs was a great way to get the students engaged and learn about the different body parts. I also think that stretching in the beginning was a geat activity to not only warm the children up, but was relevant to her topic - body parts.
I think that Cam's presentation was really great. I think it was fun and engaging. I also liked the idea of drawing your favorite sea animal, because it lets the children bring their own opinion into their lessons, which can sometimes be boring.
I really enjoyed Madison's presentation on butterflies. I think she was very enthusiastic, organized, and patient. I think her students would love her presentation, and learning about butterflies is really fun.
VideoRanger Nick had a great talk. I really enjoyed how he uses animals to teach students about differences. I like how he uses stickers when he grades for 90 or above, regardless even if the children are college students. I think his point that using stamps shows how students like to feel seen and awknowledged for their accomplishments by their educators, no matter the age.
