Introductions are a very important aspect of teaching well. Knowing each other's names as classmates contributes to create a safe environment where students feel welcomed. As teachers, knowing your students names, contributes to develop your personal relationship with them as well as your control of the learning environment.

Classrooms are microcosms where learning takes place at many levels. However, for a safe and creative environment to take place, the teacher has to be proactive about implementing certain rules to manage his/her classroom successfully.
